F Block: I misspoke when mentioning components of the skeletal system. Cartilage is a type of connective tissue that is slightly less hard than bone and forms structures in some areas of the body. Ligaments are the connections between bones. Connections of muscle to bones are called tendons and will be dealt with in a later chapter.
